Computer Information Systems is one of the most popular majors in the nation, ranking 9th of all the majors we analyze. In 2020-2021, 88,434 degrees were awarded to students with this major. In 2019-2020, computer information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $54,066 and had an average of $26,787 in loans still to pay off.
Across Missouri, there were 1,495 computer information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,012 and $33,735 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value CIS Schools in Missouri” ranking looked at 14 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in computer information systems. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality computer information systems programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

With a freshman retention rate of 89%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its undergraduate students.
