Across Ohio, there were 1,022 computer science graduates with average earnings and debt of $64,070 and $27,690 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for CompSci” ranking, we looked at 9 colleges that offer a degree in computer science. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality computer science programs as well as strong veteran support.

Top 9 Best Computer Science Colleges for Veterans in Ohio
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Xavier University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for CompSci list. Xavier University is a private not-for-profit institution located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 28 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Xavier, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 7,061 students enrolled at Xavier, 249 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Case Western Reserve University is located in Cleveland, Ohio and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 201 ’s compsci degrees to qualified students.
Case Western also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 109 of the 11,465 students enrolled at Case Western Reserve University were GI Bill® students, of which 69 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
