Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent computer science programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Saint Edward’s University ranked #7 on this year’s Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for CompSci list. Located in Austin, Texas, this small private not-for-profit school awarded 31 degrees to qualified ’s compsci students in 2020-2021.

St. Edward’s University did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Our most recent data shows that 170 of the 3,591 students enrolled at St. Edward’s University were GI Bill® students, of which 141 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. University of Houston - Clear Lake did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for CompSci ranking, coming in at #8. Houston, Texas is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s compsci degrees to 95 students in 2020-2021.

UH Clear Lake also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Our most recent data shows that 465 of the 9,053 students enrolled at UH Clear Lake were GI Bill® students, of which 292 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
