When it comes to choosing a college, veterans have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. One of our goals at College Factual is to give you as much information as we can - such as our “Most Veteran Friendly in Iowa for Computer & Information Sciences” ranking - to help you make that decision.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent computer and information sciences programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the computer and information sciences program at the school. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Iowa. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Iowa for Computer & Information Sciences. University of Iowa is located in Iowa City, Iowa and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 187 ’s computer and information sciences degrees to qualified students.
