Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Minnesota for Education” ranking is part of that endeavor.

In 2020-2021, 327,871 education students received their degree, making the major the 4th most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $46,202 and had an average of $24,437 in loans still to pay off.

Across Minnesota, there were 10,018 education graduates with average earnings and debt of $48,279 and $25,122 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Minnesota for Education” ranking, we looked at 27 colleges that offer a degree in education. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great education programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the education program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran population. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
