In 2020-2021, 85,188 people earned their degree in engineering technologies, making the major the 20th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, engineering technologies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,350 and had an average of $21,560 in loans still to pay off.

Across Ohio, there were 4,451 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $54,007 and $22,644 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Ohio for Engineering Tech” ranking analyzed 24 colleges that offered a degree in engineering technologies. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent engineering technologies programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

University of Dayton is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Dayton, Ohio. It awarded 98 ’s engineering tech degrees in 2020-2021.
