Engineering Technologies is the 20th most popular major in the country with 85,188 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, engineering technologies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,350 and had an average of $21,560 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 27,376 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $49,645 and $20,966 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Engineering Tech” ranking looked at 87 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in engineering technologies. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent engineering technologies programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

University of South Florida - Main Campus is a large public school situated in Tampa, Florida. It awarded 30 ’s engineering tech degrees in 2020-2021.
