Our analysis found University of New Mexico - Main Campus to be the best affordable school for Indian students in New Mexico in this year’s ranking. UNM is a large public school situated in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It awarded 4,294 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Around 4.5% of the total student population at the school is international. The top three countries sending students to study at UNM are China, India, and Nepal. International students at UNM can expect to pay, on average, about $25,243 a year to attend the school. Graduate students pay around $20,487 a year in average tuition and fees.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. It ranked #2 on our 2021 Best Colleges for Indian students in New Mexico list. Socorro, New Mexico is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 225 students in 2020-2021.

NMSU Main Campus is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 2,425 bachelor’s degrees to qualified undergraduates.

International students make up 5.4% of the total student body at the school. The top three countries sending students to study at NMSU Main Campus are Kuwait, Mexico, and India. Out-of-state tuition and fees for undergraduates at NMSU Main Campus is about $23,767 a year, on average. Graduate students pay around $18,275 a year in average tuition and fees.
