Geology Program at UCSD Ranks in Top 50 Nationwide for Non-Traditional Students

La Jolla, California – The 2019 College Factual rankings have been released, and University of California – San Diego was named a top school for non-traditional students studying Geological & Earth Sciences.

This ranking was developed to highlight colleges that have great Geology programs and also great support for students who fall outside the traditional “norm”. This could include adults returning to school, part-time students, transfer students, online students and others.

National Rankings

University of California – San Diego’s Geological & Earth Sciences program is ranked #21 out of 204 colleges and universities offering this major nationwide.

This means UCSD is in the top 10% of all schools in the country for non-traditional students studying Geology. UCSD improved its ranking position 9 slots over the previous year’s ranking of #30.
