In 2020-2021, 28,787 people earned their degree in human resource management, making the major the 45th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $49,057 and had an average of $31,139 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southwest region, there were 3,926 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $47,503 and $33,876 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Well Attended HR Major in the Southwest Region” ranking, we looked at 62 colleges that offer a degree in human resource management. This ranking identifies schools that graduate the most students in human resource management.
