For this year's Best Business, Management & Marketing Colleges for Non-Traditional Students in the Far Western US Region ranking, we looked at 100 colleges that offer a bachelor's in business, management & marketing. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great business, management & marketing programs and a strong support system for non-traditional students.
Some of the factors we look at when determining these rankings are overall quality of the business, management & marketing program at the school, affordability, and non-traditional population. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

George Fox University landed the #4 spot in our 2021 best business, management & marketing schools for non-traditional students. GFU is a small private not-for-profit school located in the fringe town of Newberg. GFU also claimed a spot on our Best Colleges for Business, Management & Marketing in the Far Western US Region list. It's in the top 10% of all schools in this category.
The student loan default rate at GFU is lower than is typical, just 0.4% of students default in three years. Approximately 1,160 students take at least one class online at GFU. 1,318 students are part time.

University of San Diego comes in at #5 in this year's ranking. USD is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school located in the city of San Diego. As a testament to the quality of education offered at USD, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Business, Management & Marketing in the Far Western US Region ranking.
The student loan default rate at USD is lower than is typical, just 0.5% of students default in three years. 1,854 students are part time.
University of California - Berkeley landed the #6 spot in our 2021 best business, management & marketing schools for non-traditional students. UC Berkeley is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized city of Berkeley. UC Berkeley not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #3 on our Best Colleges for Business, Management & Marketing in the Far Western US Region list.

Santa Clara University comes in at #10 in this year's ranking. Located in the city of Santa Clara, SCU is a private not-for-profit school with a moderately-sized student population. SCU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #4 on our Best Colleges for Business, Management & Marketing in the Far Western US Region list.

Washington State University comes in at #11 in this year's ranking. Wazzu is a very large public school located in the town of Pullman. Wazzu excels when it comes to major quality. It's ranked in the top 20% of all schools on our Best Colleges for Business, Management & Marketing in the Far Western US Region list.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.4%. 4,690 students at Wazzu are exclusively online. There are roughly 4,985 part time students in attendance at Wazzu.
Pepperdine University comes in at #12 in this year's ranking. Located in the suburb of Malibu, Pepperdine is a private not-for-profit college with a large student population. Pepperdine also took the #7 spot in our Best Colleges for Business, Management & Marketing in the Far Western US Region rankings.

The #15 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Central Washington University. Located in the distant town of Ellensburg, CWU is a public college with a medium-sized student population.
