Sacred Heart University tops the 2021 list of our schools in Connecticut that are best for non-traditional computer information systems students. Located in the large suburb of Fairfield, Sacred Heart is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population. Sacred Heart also took the #3 spot in our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in Connecticut rankings.
The student loan default rate at Sacred Heart is lower than is typical, just 0.9% of students default in three years. Approximately 2,774 students take at least one class online at Sacred Heart. About 2,334 of the students at Sacred Heart are attending part time.

The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to University of Connecticut. UCONN is a very large public school located in the large suburb of Storrs. UCONN also made our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in Connecticut list, coming in at #2.
The student loan default rate at UCONN is lower than is typical, just 0.9% of students default in three years. Approximately 11,648 students take at least one class online at UCONN. 3,257 of UCONN students are attending part time.

The #3 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Central Connecticut State University. CCSU is a medium-sized public school located in the suburb of New Britain. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, CCSU has also earned the #4 rank in our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in Connecticut ranking.
The student loan default rate at CCSU is lower than is typical, just 2.1% of students default in three years. Approximately 2,064 students take at least one class online at CCSU. There are roughly 3,098 part time students in attendance at CCSU.

Eastern Connecticut State University comes in at #4 in this year's ranking. Located in the town of Willimantic, ECSU is a public college with a small student population. ECSU not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #5 on our Best Colleges for Computer Information Systems in Connecticut list.
