Computer Information Systems is one of the most popular majors in the nation, ranking 9th of all the majors we analyze. In 2020-2021, 88,434 degrees were awarded to students with this major. In 2019-2020, computer information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $54,066 and had an average of $26,787 in loans still to pay off.
Across Oregon, there were 306 computer information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $48,552 and $23,280 respectively.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Western Oregon University. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Oregon for CIS. Monmouth, Oregon is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s CIS degrees to 24 students in 2020-2021.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Oregon. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Oregon for CIS list. University of Oregon is a large public school situated in Eugene, Oregon. It awarded 106 ’s CIS degrees in 2020-2021.
UO also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.According to our most recent data, UO supports 21,752 students, and 582 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 314 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $11,688. In addition to receiving other benefits, 25 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Oregon Institute of Technology. It ranked #4 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Oregon for CIS list. OIT is a public institution located in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The school has a small population, and it awarded 21 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
OIT not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Of the 5,323 students enrolled at Oregon Institute of Technology, 104 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. During this same period, 1 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Oregon Institute of Technology offers credit for military training for eligible students.
