With 88,434 degrees handed out in 2020-2021, computer information systems is the 9th most popular major in the United States. In 2019-2020, computer information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $54,066 and had an average of $26,787 in loans still to pay off.

Across the New England region, there were 4,815 computer information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $61,933 and $24,269 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for CIS” ranking analyzed 38 colleges that offered a degree in computer information systems. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent computer information systems programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, this fairly large private not-for-profit school awarded 25 degrees to qualified ’s CIS students in 2020-2021.
