Located in the town of Farmington, UMaine Farmington is a public college with a small student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at UMaine Farmington, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Education in the New England Region ranking.

The student loan default rate at UMaine Farmington is lower than is typical, just 2.3% of students default in three years. There are approximately 422 students at UMaine Farmington that take at least one class online. About 564 of the students at UMaine Farmington are attending part time.

Bridgewater State University earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the large suburb of Bridgewater, Bridgewater State is a public college with a medium-sized student population. Southern Connecticut State University landed the #4 spot in our 2021 best education schools for non-traditional students. SCSU is a medium-sized public school located in the medium-sized city of New Haven. SCSU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #8 on our Best Colleges for Education in the New England Region list.

The student loan default rate at SCSU is lower than is typical, just 2.7% of students default in three years. Approximately 4,172 students take at least one class online at SCSU. There are roughly 2,335 part time students in attendance at SCSU.
