University of California - Berkeley earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. UC Berkeley is a fairly large public school located in the midsize city of Berkeley. UC Berkeley did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for Engineering in the Far Western US Region list.
