In 2020-2021, 7,984 people earned their degree in other health professions, making the major the 102nd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, other health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $45,061 and had an average of $24,616 in loans still to pay off.
This year’s “Most Well Attended Health Professions Major” ranking looked at 234 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in other health professions. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have one of the most popular other health professions programs in the United States.

Out of the 234 schools in the Most Well Attended Health Professions Major that were part of this year’s ranking, American Public University System landed the #1 spot on the list. This large school is located in Charles Town, West Virginia, and it awarded 692 ’s health professions degrees in 2020-2021.
Students who start out at the school are likely to stick around. The freshman retention rate is 98%.

Out of the 234 schools in the Most Well Attended Health Professions Major that were part of this year’s ranking, Quinnipiac University landed the #2 spot on the list.
