Northern Kentucky University has taken the #1 spot in this year's history ranking for non-traditional students. NKU is a large public school located in the suburb of Highland Heights. NKU also made our Best Colleges for History in Kentucky list, coming in at #3.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 2.2%. 6,629 students at NKU are exclusively online. There are roughly 7,069 part time students in attendance at NKU.

University of Kentucky landed the #2 spot in our 2021 best history schools for non-traditional students. UK is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Lexington. UK did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for History in Kentucky list.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.6%. Approximately 8,399 students take at least one class online at UK. 4,117 of UK students are attending part time.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at WKU, the school also landed the #4 rank in our Best Colleges for History in Kentucky ranking.
