In 2020-2021, 1,302 people earned their degree in mathematics and computer science, making the major the 221st most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, mathematics and computer science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $80,867 and had an average of $19,874 in loans still to pay off.
This year’s “Schools Highly Focused on Math & CompSci Major” ranking looked at 100 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in mathematics and computer science. The colleges and universities that top this list are recognized because their mathematics and computer science program is one of the largest majors offered at the school.
