Located in the large city of Tucson, University of Arizona is a public college with a very large student population. University of Arizona also took the #2 spot in our Best Colleges for Psychology in the Southwest Region rankings.

The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.6%. Approximately 18,254 students take at least one class online at University of Arizona. About 12,642 of the students at University of Arizona are attending part time.

The University of Texas of the Permian Basin landed the #2 spot in our 2021 best psychology schools for non-traditional students. UT Permian Basin is a moderately-sized public school located in the city of Odessa.

The student loan default rate at UT Permian Basin is lower than is typical, just 2.8% of students default in three years. 2,887 of UT Permian Basin students are exclusively distance learners. About 2,711 of the students at UT Permian Basin are attending part time.

The #3 spot in this year's ranking belongs to University of North Texas. Located in the medium-sized city of Denton, UNT is a public college with a fairly large student population. In addition to being on our bet for non-traditional students list, UNT is in the top 20% of all schools on our Best Colleges for Psychology in the Southwest Region list.
