2022 Best Value Anthropology Schools for a Master’s
It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for students. Our “Best Value Anthropology Schools for a Master’s” ranking is part of that endeavor.
Anthropology is the 71st most popular major in the country with 11,652 degrees awarded in 2019-2020.
At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 974 anthropology graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,398 and $43,194 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Anthropology Schools for a Master’s” ranking looked at 130 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in anthropology. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great anthropology programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as the cost to attend the school after aid is awarded and overall quality of the anthropology program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
