University of North Carolina at Wilmington comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. Located in the midsize city of Wilmington, UNCW is a public school with a fairly large student population. UNCW not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #3 on our Best Colleges for Social Work in North Carolina list.

East Carolina University comes in at #3 in this year's ranking. Located in the city of Greenville, ECU is a public school with a very large student population. ECU not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #4 on our Best Colleges for Social Work in North Carolina list.

Our rankings recognize North Carolina State University as the #4 school in this year's rankings. NC State is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Raleigh. NC State did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for Social Work in North Carolina list.
