2022 Best Value Math Schools for a Bachelor’s in Michigan

Mathematics is the 32nd most popular major in the country with 31,080 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, mathematics graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $44,066 and had an average of $21,378 in loans still to pay off.
Across Michigan, there were 689 mathematics graduates with average earnings and debt of $45,667 and $25,253 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 588 mathematics graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,161 and $25,915 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Math Schools for a Bachelor’s in Michigan” ranking, we looked at 13 colleges that offer a degree in mathematics. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent mathematics programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
