This year's Best Romance Languages Colleges for Non-Traditional Students in the Middle Atlantic Region ranking analyzed 15 colleges that offered a bachelor's degree in romance languages. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality romance languages programs as well as strong support for students classified as non-traditional.

Penn State University Park is a very large public school located in the small city of University Park. Penn State University Park did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our Best Colleges for Romance Languages in the Middle Atlantic Region list.

Columbia University in the City of New York earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Columbia is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the large city of New York. Columbia also made our Best Colleges for Romance Languages in the Middle Atlantic Region list, coming in at #1.
About 0.9% of Columbia students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. There are approximately 6,172 students at Columbia that take at least one class online. 4,854 students are part time.

Our rankings recognize New Jersey City University as the #4 school in this year's rankings. Located in the large city of Jersey City, NJCU is a public school with a moderately-sized student population.
