University of Massachusetts Amherst tops the 2021 list of our schools in the New England Region that are best for non-traditional mathematics students. Located in the large suburb of Amherst, UMass Amherst is a public college with a fairly large student population. UMass Amherst also took the #7 spot in our Best Colleges for Mathematics in the New England Region rankings.
