In 2019-2020, 728 people earned their degree in environmental design, making the major the 255th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, environmental design graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $41,900 and had an average of $23,950 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 131 environmental design graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $21,693 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 15 environmental design graduates with average earnings and debt of $71,978 and $116,300 respectively.
