General Business/Commerce is the 13th most popular major in the country with 55,749 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $40,821 and had an average of $25,596 in loans still to pay off.
Across Ohio, there were 756 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,423 and $24,751 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 341 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,281 and $26,151 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value General Business Schools for a Bachelor’s in Ohio” ranking looked at 15 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in general business/commerce. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality general business/commerce programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
