Human Resource Management is the 43rd most popular major in the country with 26,616 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,242 and had an average of $34,825 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 4,634 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $50,049 and $33,952 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 243 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $32,733 and $16,201 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value HR Schools for an Associate in the Middle Atlantic Region For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking, we looked at 13 colleges that offer a degree in human resource management. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent human resource management programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.

SUNY Empire State College is a public institution located in Saratoga Springs, New York. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 138 associates’s degrees in 2019-2020.
