In 2019-2020, 9,020 people earned their degree in electronics engineering technology, making the major the 119th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, electronics engineering technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,459 and had an average of $25,065 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 3,146 electronics engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,532 and $25,687 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 802 electronics engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $31,631 and $18,547 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value EE Tech Schools for an Associate in the Southeast Region For Those Getting Aid” ranking analyzed 32 colleges that offered a degree in electronics engineering technology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality electronics engineering technology programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
