2022 Best Value Doctor’s Degree Colleges for Civil Engineering in the Southwest Region

In 2019-2020, 21,561 people earned their degree in civil engineering, making the major the 45th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, civil engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $60,122 and had an average of $23,807 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 2,438 civil engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $59,929 and $21,417 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 149 civil engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $71,970 and $95,025 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality civil engineering programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
