2022 Best Value Master’s Degree Colleges for American Sign Language (Income $30-$48k) in the Middle Atlantic Region

In 2019-2020, 2,737 people earned their degree in American Sign Language, making the major the 197th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, American Sign Language graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $30,270 and had an average of $21,733 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 319 American Sign Language graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,400 and $26,507 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 47 American Sign Language graduates with average earnings and debt of $60,887 and $46,998 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality American Sign Language programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

Rochester, New York is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out masters’s ASL degrees to 7 students in 2019-2020.
