2022 Best Value Doctor’s Degree Colleges for Germanic Languages in the Middle Atlantic Region

Germanic Languages is the 216th most popular major in the country with 1,415 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, Germanic languages graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $34,200 and had an average of $22,114 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 234 Germanic languages graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 14 Germanic languages graduates with average earnings and debt of $73,944 and $116,843 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value German Schools for a Doctorate in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking analyzed 4 colleges that offered a degree in Germanic languages. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent Germanic languages programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
