In 2019-2020, 81,167 people earned their degree in allied health professions, making the major the 15th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, allied health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $49,676 and had an average of $30,684 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 25,545 allied health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $45,399 and $30,896 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 3,120 allied health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,950 and $43,286 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Allied Health Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking looked at 68 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in allied health professions. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great allied health professions programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
