Public Health is the 27th most popular major in the country with 38,020 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, public health graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $41,740 and had an average of $35,895 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 8,859 public health graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,888 and $33,500 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 4,601 public health graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,277 and $25,415 respectively.
