In 2019-2020, 183,889 psychology students received their degree, making the major the 7th most popular in the country. In 2017-2018, psychology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $33,496 and had an average of $36,227 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Rocky Mountains region, there were 6,498 psychology graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,060 and $38,479 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 4,669 psychology graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,111 and $23,874 respectively.

Located in Rexburg, Idaho, this large private not-for-profit school handed out 200 degrees to qualified bachelors’s psychology students in 2019-2020.
