2022 Best Value Human Services Schools for an Associate in the Middle Atlantic Region

Human Services is the 74th most popular major in the country with 12,645 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, human services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $30,302 and had an average of $28,284 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 2,685 human services graduates with average earnings and debt of $28,555 and $22,040 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 1,463 human services graduates with average earnings and debt of $32,733 and $16,201 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality human services programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

Mohawk Valley Community College is a public institution located in Utica, New York. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 30 associates’s degrees in 2019-2020.
