In 2019-2020, 662 people earned their degree in interior architecture, making the major the 259th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, interior architecture graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $41,244 and had an average of $24,467 in loans still to pay off.

At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 500 interior architecture graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Interiors Schools for a Bachelor’s For Those Getting Aid” ranking analyzed 25 colleges that offered a degree in interior architecture. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality interior architecture programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
