In 2019-2020, 55,749 people earned their degree in general business/commerce, making the major the 13th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $40,821 and had an average of $25,596 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Rocky Mountains region, there were 1,733 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,133 and $26,953 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 473 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,967 and $17,711 respectively.
