In 2019-2020, 17,830 people earned their degree in hospitality management, making the major the 61st most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, hospitality management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $33,271 and had an average of $21,829 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southwest region, there were 1,955 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $34,317 and $21,565 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,041 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,896 and $23,899 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality hospitality management programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

Texas A&M College Station did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best Hospitality Management Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.
