In 2019-2020, 14,198 people earned their degree in management information systems, making the major the 69th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, management information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $56,157 and had an average of $27,895 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southwest region, there were 2,383 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $54,286 and $28,976 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,768 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,896 and $23,899 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality management information systems programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
