2022 Best Value MIS Schools for an Associate in the Great Lakes Region

Management Information Systems is the 69th most popular major in the country with 14,198 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, management information systems graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $56,157 and had an average of $27,895 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 2,074 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $55,357 and $26,715 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 53 management information systems graduates with average earnings and debt of $32,508 and $17,812 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value MIS Schools for an Associate in the Great Lakes Region” ranking, we looked at 10 colleges that offer a degree in management information systems. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality management information systems programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
