The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great computer science programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

Arizona State University - Tempe is a large public school situated in Tempe, Arizona. It awarded 357 masters’s compsci degrees in 2019-2020.

Located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, this fairly large public school handed out 1 diplomas to qualified masters’s compsci students in 2019-2020.

University of Houston - Clear Lake ranked #8 on this year’s Best Value CompSci Schools for a Master’s in the Southwest Region For Those Making $30-$48k list. This medium-sized school is located in Houston, Texas, and it awarded 60 masters’s compsci degrees in 2019-2020.
UH Clear Lake not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #9 on our “Best Computer Science Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list. Average graduate tuition and fees at University of Houston - Clear Lake are $19,216, but some majors have different tuition rates.
