2022 Best Value Associate Degree Colleges for Computer Science in the Rocky Mountains Region

Computer Science is the 19th most popular major in the country with 53,722 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, computer science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $66,561 and had an average of $23,565 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Rocky Mountains region, there were 2,726 computer science graduates with average earnings and debt of $57,284 and $30,728 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 165 computer science graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,967 and $17,711 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value CompSci Schools for an Associate in the Rocky Mountains Region” ranking looked at 6 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in computer science. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality computer science programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
