Across Florida, there were 705 general education graduates with average earnings and debt of $44,550 and $50,750 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 348 general education graduates with average earnings and debt of $65,671 and $120,169 respectively.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Florida Gulf Coast University. It ranked #2 on our 2022 Best Value Education Schools for a Doctorate in Florida list. Florida Gulf Coast University is a public institution located in Fort Myers, Florida. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 6 doctorate’s degrees in 2019-2020.

Out of the 3 schools in the Best Value Education Schools for a Doctorate in Florida that were part of this year’s ranking, Nova Southeastern University landed the #3 spot on the list. Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this large private not-for-profit school handed out 303 diplomas to qualified doctorate’s education students in 2019-2020.
