2022 Best Value EE Tech Schools for a Master’s

Electronics Engineering Technology is the 119th most popular major in the country with 9,020 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, electronics engineering technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,459 and had an average of $25,065 in loans still to pay off.
At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 113 electronics engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,398 and $43,194 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value EE Tech Schools for a Master’s” ranking looked at 6 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in electronics engineering technology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality electronics engineering technology programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

Out of the 6 schools in the Best Value EE Tech Schools for a Master’s that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Nebraska - Lincoln landed the #3 spot on the list. University of Nebraska - Lincoln is a large public school situated in Lincoln, Nebraska. It awarded 2 masters’s EE tech degrees in 2019-2020.

Southern Methodist University landed the #6 spot on the 2022 Best Value EE Tech Schools for a Master’s ranking. Dallas, Texas is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out masters’s EE tech degrees to 48 students in 2019-2020.
SMU also took the #3 spot in our “Best Electronics Engineering Technology Master’s Degree Schools” ranking. Average graduate tuition and fees at SMU are $47,478, but some majors have different tuition rates.
