In 2019-2020, 9,020 people earned their degree in electronics engineering technology, making the major the 119th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, electronics engineering technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,459 and had an average of $25,065 in loans still to pay off.
At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,515 electronics engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value EE Tech Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 84 colleges that offered a degree in electronics engineering technology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality electronics engineering technology programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

Located in Hammond, Indiana, this medium-sized public school handed out 23 diplomas to qualified bachelors’s EE tech students in 2019-2020.

Excelsior University came in at #6 in this year’s edition of the Best Value EE Tech Schools for a Bachelor’s ranking. Albany, New York is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelors’s EE tech degrees to 28 students in 2019-2020.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Excelsior University, the school also landed the #14 spot in our “Best Electronics Engineering Technology Bachelor’s Degree Schools” ranking.

Southern Illinois University Carbondale landed the #7 spot on the 2022 Best Value EE Tech Schools for a Bachelor’s ranking. SIUC is a fairly large public school situated in Carbondale, Illinois. It awarded 23 bachelors’s EE tech degrees in 2019-2020.

SUNY College of Technology at Farmingdale is located in Farmingdale, New York and, has a fairly large student population.
