Engineering-Related Fields is the 120th most popular major in the country with 6,319 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, engineering-related fields graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $73,026 and had an average of $26,903 in loans still to pay off.
At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 3,748 engineering-related fields graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,398 and $43,194 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Engineering-Related Fields Schools for a Master’s” ranking analyzed 81 colleges that offered a degree in engineering-related fields. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality engineering-related fields programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
