2022 Best Value Master’s Degree Colleges for General Engineering Technology in the Southeast Region

General Engineering Technology is the 155th most popular major in the country with 4,195 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, general engineering technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $49,903 and had an average of $20,609 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 1,873 general engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $45,686 and $20,911 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 17 general engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,950 and $43,286 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Engineering Tech Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region” ranking looked at 3 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in general engineering technology. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent general engineering technology programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
