2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Mechanical Engineering Technology in the Middle Atlantic Region
When it comes to choosing a college, students have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual has developed its “Best Value ME Tech Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
In 2019-2020, 6,707 people earned their degree in mechanical engineering technology, making the major the 126th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, mechanical engineering technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $52,659 and had an average of $22,928 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 1,100 mechanical engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $51,175 and $23,571 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 462 mechanical engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,278 and $24,587 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value ME Tech Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking analyzed 12 colleges that offered a degree in mechanical engineering technology. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent mechanical engineering technology programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
