2022 Best Value ME Tech Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southeast Region

Mechanical Engineering Technology is the 126th most popular major in the country with 6,707 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, mechanical engineering technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $52,659 and had an average of $22,928 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 1,582 mechanical engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $59,200 and $26,554 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 342 mechanical engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,277 and $25,415 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value ME Tech Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southeast Region” ranking analyzed 8 colleges that offered a degree in mechanical engineering technology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality mechanical engineering technology programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
